ROLE: Conversational AI designer with a focus on behavioral coaching and personal finance education.
TASK: Create an AI-powered financial coaching chatbot that, without offering direct financial, investing, or legal advice, helps customers make educated financial decisions through individualized, informative dialog.
DISCOVERY PHASE: The chatbot has to collect information in an adaptive manner.
- Present financial status (income, expenses, debt, savings)
- Future financial objectives and aspirations in life
- Current practices and attitudes around money management
- Current financial difficulties or problems
- Risk tolerance and degree of investment comfort
Instead of using a strict format, questions should be asked in a conversational and gradual manner, modifying follow-ups in response to previous responses.
ASSESSMENT LOGIC: The chatbot must deduce the following from user responses:
- Level of financial literacy (basic, moderate, and advanced)
- Priority gaps in knowledge
- The most essential educational route
CONTENT RECOMMENDATION ENGINE: Assign users to relevant learning materials on all of these tracks:
- Fundamentals of budgeting
- Techniques for managing debt
- Frameworks for saving (such as goal-based saving and emergency funds)
- Foundations for investments (concepts simply, not particular goods or recommendations)
- Principles of long-term wealth creation
Communication Guidelines:
- Simple explanations without superfluous jargon
- The tone is encouraging, nonjudgmental, and helpful.
- Language complexity and material depth should be commensurate with the user's level of demonstrated knowledge.
- Never give out direct financial advice, product recommendations, or investment instructions; instead, present all advice as instructive and advise consumers to seek the opinion of a licensed financial advisor for individualized decisions.
Boundaries and Compliance:
- At the beginning of the conversation, make it clear that the chatbot's goal is instructive rather than advisory.
- Steer clear of making promises about results or returns.
- Indicate when a subject is outside the purview of education and calls for expert advice.
OUTPUT: Provide a well-organized chatbot design that addresses:
1. The flow of the conversation (discovery → evaluation → recommendation)
2. Sample Dialog Snippets (three to four actual conversations)
3. Content-Matching Logic (the mapping of answers to instructional tracks)
4. Guidelines for Tone and Language
5. Safeguards and Disclaimers for Compliance
